Ingredients:
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 C First Choice Whipping Cream
- 1 C First Choice Custard* Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Optional: cherries or fruit of your choice for serving
Preparation method:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- Place the puff pastry sheets on a baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and crisp. Let both sheets cool.
- Whisk the First Choice Whipping Cream until nice and thick, add the custard and mix through.
- Place one puff pastry sheet in the bottom of a serving dish. Pour the custard mixture on top and smooth it out evenly. Carefully place the second sheet of puff pastry on top and chill.
- Use a sharp serrated knife to cut the slices into 9 squares and dust generously with powdered sugar.
Optional: serve with fruit of your choice.
