Ingredients:
For the French Toast:
- 1 loaf ciabatta bread, thickly sliced
- 500 ml Chocolate First Choice Velvet
- 1 tbsp First Choice Butter
For the Caramelised Banana:
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 tbsp First Choice honey
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp First Choice Butter
To Serve:
- Syrup
- Berries
Preparation method:
- Pour the First Choice Velvet into a deep dish and place the ciabatta slices in the dish. Make sure the bread soaks up all the yummy goodness. Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Grease a pan with First Choice Butter and place on high heat.
- Fry the soaked ciabatta slices for approximately 3 minutes on each side and set aside.
- In a clean pan, on high heat, add the First Choice Butter, honey and sugar.
- Once melted, add the banana slices. Flip when golden brown, and keep a close eye so they don't burn.
- Stack the French Toast and place the caramelised bananas ontop.
