Ingredients:

For the French Toast:

  • 1 loaf ciabatta bread, thickly sliced
  • 500 ml Chocolate First Choice Velvet
  • 1 tbsp First Choice Butter

For the Caramelised Banana:

  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 tbsp First Choice honey
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp First Choice Butter

To Serve:

  • Syrup
  • Berries

Preparation method:

  1. Pour the First Choice Velvet into a deep dish and place the ciabatta slices in the dish. Make sure the bread soaks up all the yummy goodness. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Grease a pan with First Choice Butter and place on high heat.
  3. Fry the soaked ciabatta slices for approximately 3 minutes on each side and set aside.
  4. In a clean pan, on high heat, add the First Choice Butter, honey and sugar.
  5. Once melted, add the banana slices. Flip when golden brown, and keep a close eye so they don't burn.
  6. Stack the French Toast and place the caramelised bananas ontop.
