Ingredients:
- 110g castor sugar to make the caramel
- 4 large eggs
- 200g cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 tin condensed milk
- 200ml First Choice custard
- 200ml First Choice cream
- 1/2 pod vanilla seeds scraped out
Preparation method:
- Make a dry dark caramel over low heat. Pour into a well-greased baking dish of choice. Cool.
- Preheat your oven to 150°C.
- Blend the eggs and the cream cheese.
- Add the condensed milk, vanilla seeds, custard, cream and mix well together.
- Pour the mixture over the hard caramel in the baking dish.
- Bake in a water bath for 30 mins uncovered. After 30 mins, cover with foil and bake another 30 mins, the custard should be soft - wiggly but set.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool.
- Unmould onto a serving plate, serve and enoy!
