WOODLANDS Dairy is one of the largest manufacturers of UHT milk in South Africa, marketed under the brand FIRST CHOICE®. The company consists of a team of more than 1 500 people and believes in innovative thinking, the speedy development of new products and excellent customer service. Woodlands Dairy prides itself on the implementation of a corporate social investment programme which supports community projects concerned with Health and Education in the Kouga Region. From August 2017 to May 2018, 23 projects are supported.

The old school was demolished and the old school was demolished and a brand new school built. Haasbekkies Daycare Their 50m² wooden floor was unstable. It has since been reinforced and floor-boards were replaced. Angels Daycare Centre For nap time, 40 new web beds were purchased. In addition, educational supplies were purchased as well as colourful tables and chairs. Little Angels Day and Educare A new classroom will be built and Woodlands Dairy supplied materials for the roof of the new classroom.
Madiba Bay Crèche Educational supplies will be purchased. Eldred Groep Crèche Three warm carpets have been purchased and the jungle gym will be refurbished in 2018. Dienkie Dot A new 3x6m Wendy House which is being used as a classroom was purchased and erected. Colourful tables and chairs were also purchased for the new classroom.
Child Welfare SA Humansdorp School apparel and school shoes will be purchased in January in time for the 2018 school year. Nkqubela Crèche Educational and cleaning supplies are supplied throughout the year. Ithemba Family Support Centre Soft Play equipment for pre-schoolers was purchased to assist with the development of fine motor skills.
Pink Panther Daycare Educational supplies will be purchased in January 2018 in time for the new school year. Joshua Project Two Jo-Jo tanks and water pumps have been purchased to irrigate the gardens at the centre. Kate van der Merwe Crèche The jungle gym is currently unsafe and will be refurbished. In addition, Woodlands Dairy will assist by purchasing educational

Elderly and Children’s Resort Woodlands Dairy purchased kitchen equipment to assist the cooks with preparation and serving of food. Sewende Laan Soup Kitchen Monthly groceries are supplied. Joy Kids International Milk is supplied on a monthly basis. Bet-El Revival Centre Monthly groceries are supplied. Margaret ’s Soup kitchen Milk is supplied on a monthly basis. Meals-on-Wheels Community Service Blankets will be purchased for the 2018 Winter blanket distribution drive. Medical Assistance Healthy Mom and Baby Clinic Benches and a new computer have been purchased for the clinic. Senior Citizens Clubs Protea Community Centre The roof leaks in all areas of the centre and will be replaced. Kruisfontein Service Centre Monthly groceries are supplied. Jongilanga Service Centre A new fridge and stove will be supplied.
