Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:
For the Pumpkin Pie:
 150 ml flour
 5 ml salt
 7,5 ml baking powder
 500 ml cooked, drained and mashed pumpkin
 2 eggs, beaten
 60 ml First Choice butter, melted
 200 ml First Choice Vanilla Velvet
For the Pumpkin Spice:
 50 ml castor sugar
 10 ml ground cinnamon
 2,5 ml ground ginger
 5 ml cumin seeds

Directions:
For the Pumpkin Pie:

Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease an ovenproof pie dish.

Sieve together the flour, salt and baking powder.

Add the First Choice Vanilla Velvet, eggs and melted First Choice Butter to the pumpkin.

Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin and mix well to combine.

Pour into the prepared pie dish.

Bake for ±30 minutes until cooked and golden brown.

For the Pumpkin Spice:

Combine the castor sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger and cumin seeds

Sprinkle generously with the pumpkin spice or cinnamon sugar.
