DIY Storage Box

You will need: (Makes 1 storage box)
1 x 2 litre First Choice fresh milk box
2 different coloured material
T-Shirt Yarn (Tarn Knitting & Crocheting) for handle
glue (Ezee Flex)
pen & ruler
Step One: Open the top of the First Choice box. You will see three triangles on two of the sides. Cut out the two outer triangles on both.
Step Two: Glue the remaining two triangles and sides of the box to form a flat surface. Wait to dry.
Step Three: Cut open the front of the box and cut off excess pieces.
Step Four: Measure and cut the material to cover the First Choice box.
- 14 cm x 47.5 cm
- 25 cm x 46.5 cm
Step Five: Make an ‘X’ on the 1st piece of material where the lid used to be, and cut along the X to fit over the lid area. Mark an X inside the box and do the same.
Step Six: Glue the first piece of material (14 cm x 47.5 cm) to the box.
Step Seven: Glue the second piece of material (25 cm x 46.5 cm) to the box.
Step Eight: Put the T-Shirt Yarn (available from www.tarnsa.co.za) through the lid area and make a knot at the back. Fill your box and share your pics with us!
